I hope your week's got off to a good start.

It's going to be a fun one here because ......... it's time for this year's 12 Tags of Christmas with Loll & Friends .... whoo hoo!!!  Christmas is coming ..... Ho! Ho! Ho!


I love playing along with this event ........ you know how I love my tags!!
Not sure if I'll manage to keep up with all 12 days but ..... let's give it a go.  I made a good start on a batch of Christmas cards at the weekend ..... let's see how we do with the tags!

Day 1 ...... let's start with something CAS. 
Classic black and white with a hint of festive red ....... love this combination.


I've used my all time favourite snowman ..... this little guy is just so cute! 


Not sure if he's still available to buy, he's been with me for ever!  He's from Inkadinkadoo and it's a wood mounted stamp ........ so no MISTI!!!
I stamped him onto my tag using the black Versafine Clair ink, and then I ran the tag through my embossing machine using the Softly Falling EF from Stampin Up!


I coloured his hat and scarf with a ZIG Marker and added a touch of sparkle with some crystal glitter


A simple sentiment on the bottom and that's Tag number 1 done!

Sadly it's the final year for this event ....... sigh!   So, if you haven't joined in the fun yet, do it now, it's your last chance!

I'm off now to start packing.  We're off to the UK for a few days on Friday ...... and we're on the boat!! 
The weather's not looking good so a trip into town for some travel sickness pills is high on the To Do list!!

On the second day of December ....... it's time for a Blog Challenge

Happy Sunday evening ....... I hope you've enjoyed the weekend. Yeah!!! The Christmas tree is done ....... finally!  Or rather, it will be when I put the last of the baubles on that I got today.  Hopefully there'll be enough on there now.  I'll take some pictures later and you can let me know what you think. The Christmas presents are nearly all bought too ...... they just need wrapping now.  I think I've got everything, I was out shopping this afternoon with the kids ...... they may be easier to buy for now they're older ...... just more expensive!  We met up with hubby ..... he managed to avoid the actual shopping bit, clever that!  We had a lovely family lunch out which was nice .... it's not often its just the four of us. On the fifth day of December ........

Happy Wednesday ....... My goodness has it done some raining here today.  If it carries on much longer we're going to need a boat!!  The garden at the back looks like a lake ...... Never mind ...... it's the perfect weather for staying cozy and warm, and finishing off all those Christmas cards.  Yeah! I'm almost done ..... I said this week was going to be a good one. I've even got the international cards in the post, and some of the UK ones are all ready to go. They would have been on their way today but, I decided to stay dry and finish off what was on my desk instead ....... This bunch of Jolly Santas are waiting for the little man to collect them ..... 30 cards for all his school pals.  I'm glad the Santa was easy to fussy cut!! Stamped in black ink and heat embossed in clear, coloured with ZIG markers and fussy cut. A little touch of glitter before attaching them onto the cards using a piece of folded acetate so that they bounce a little .... They look so cute! ...
